Artist's Description

I worked on Sunny Days One through Four together, gradually adding more detail in each painting session. Working against a bright yellow, I added layers of color and lines to develop the idea of growth--forms moving upwards toward light and life. The 10" x 48" original painting is on stretched canvas, with the image continuing around the 1.5" sides so that no frame is required. It comes with picture wire, ready to hang either vertically or horizontally.

As a young teenager she took oil-painting lessons from a local artist and later she was president of her high-school art club. At Rutgers University, the University of Southern California, and the University of California, Lynne took art classes in painting, print-making, drawing and pottery.
